Literally the size of a house, the clock's cuckoo itself is 4.50 m long and weighs in at 150 kg! The mechanism design was taken from a century old example and recreated in a scale of 60:1. Every single part had to be specially manufactured and the project took approximately 5 years to complete. Germany's highest waterfalls are located in the spa town of Triberg. They are not only a sight to behold, the water agitation makes for a healthy atmosphere believed to work wonders for the heart and lungs. Another must is a trip on the famous Schwarzwaldbahn (Black Forest Railway) which is also known as the "Mother of all mountain railways". The section between Hornberg, Triberg and St. Georgen is considered especially worth seeing.

The reservoir lake covers approximately 5.1 square kilometres and is a genuine paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Diving, sailing, wind surfing, rowing and fishing take place in and on the water while the beaches draw sunbathers and master BBQ chefs. Cyclists and inline skaters make good use of the well-marked and paved tracks which stretch some 160 kilometres in total.
